Unifor presents RM300,000 to Sam San Kuak Bang Temple in Asajaya

KUCHING, May 27: Asajaya assemblyman Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah has presented a grant of RM300,000 under the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) to Sam San Kuak Bang Temple in Asajaya.

The grant is to help the temple build its community hall in Sambir, Asajaya.

The grant was presented during a luncheon ceremony together with community leaders from Asajaya at Grand Margherita Hotel today.

At the same function, Abdul Karim, who is also Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak, presented letters of appointment to four new community leaders in Asajaya.

Apart from that, he also presented letters of extension for eleven other community leaders in the same area. — DayakDaily
