Unifor approves RM1 million for St. Joseph’s Convent Serian Expansion Project

KUCHING, Oct 30: Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) approves RM1 million fund for the expansion project of Tadika Juara St. Joseph’s Convent in Serian.

According to a report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, the cheque for the fund was presented by Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus to Tadika Juara chairwoman Sister General Beatrice Tipong@Sister Flora, during a simple ceremony held in St. Joseph’s Convent Tadika Juara, in Serian, today.

The fund was allocated under Unifor (Phase 3) assistance for houses of worship of other religion for year 2021.

Meanwhile, Sister General Beatrice Tipong @Sister Flora conveyed her gratitude to the Sarawak government and Unifor for approving such a large number of funding application.

She also hoped that the expansion of the kindergarten will provide more comfort and conveniences for the students and staff. ā€” DayakDaily.
