SIBU, Dec 2: An unidentified body has been discovered adrift in the Kanowit river near Shell Wharf.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak promptly dispatched a team of firefighters from the Kanowit station following an emergency call received at 10.25am today.
Upon reaching the scene, firefighters, with the assistance of a boat provided by local villagers, retrieved the body located approximately 50m from the riverbank.
Subsequently, the recovered body was handed over to the police for further investigation. — DayakDaily
