Uggah presents RM85,000 to four bodies in Spaoh

KUCHING, Oct 25: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas presented a total of RM85,000 to four association in Spaoh yesterday.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the assemblyman for Bukit Saban handed over the cheques to two Tiong Hua associations in Spaoh, where both received RM50,000 and RM20,000 respectively, Spaoh Chinese Temple Charitable Trust Board (RM10,000) and the SJK Chung Hua Spaoh Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) which received RM5,000.

The cheques were presented during a ceremony at Uggah’s Bukit Saban Constituency Service Centre.

Following that, Uggah, who is also Minister of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development, held a meeting with Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) committee members in Kampung Melayu Spaoh.

The objective of the meeting is to discuss current scenarios and developments, especially at the local community level. — DayakDaily
