Deputy Premier Uggah pays last respects to former S’wak Secretary Jaul’s mother

KUCHING, March 8: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas today visited the residence of former Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion to pay his last respects to Jaul’s mother Nora Jimbun who passed away yesterday at the age of 90.

Uggah was accompanied by Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) director Datu Jack Aman and political secretary to the Sarawak Premier Petrus Igat Mathias.

Also present was Jaul’s brother Dato Grunsin Ayom, the former director-general of Malaysian Pepper Board.

The late Nora will be buried at the Batu Kitang Anglican Cemetery after her funeral service at St Basil’s Church, Batu Kawah at 9am tomorrow (March 9). — DayakDaily
