MIRI, Dec 21: Two people were injured when thwarting a man’s alleged attempt to attack a young housewife in a house in Krokop here on midnight Friday (Dec 20).
The suspect, armed with a knife, had barged into a house while the two male victims were chatting with the young housewife.
The suspect allegedly punched the two men before damaging belongings inside the house in the 12.42am incident.
According to sources, the suspect was believed to be targeting the young housewife but the act was prevented by the two men who subsequently sustained injuries as they were attacked.
A police report was lodged by the young housewife the same night.
Sources also alleged that the complainant knew the suspect.— DayakDaily
