KUCHING, Aug 3: The bodies of two men who were feared to have drowned at Sungai Rayu, Jalan Sungai Rayu Matang, here were found today.
In a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 3.55pm, and firefighters from the Petra Jaya station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that a friend found the two victims before firefighters arrived at the scene.
The victims, aged 19 and 27, were pronounced dead by Health Ministry personnel at the scene before being handed over to the police and brought to Lundu Hospital.
According to information received, the victims were reportedly engaging in recreational activities and swimming with friends at the location before the incident occurred. — DayakDaily
