KUCHING, April 3: Two men pleaded not guilty in the High Court here today to a charge of trafficking over 10 kilograms of methamphetamine.
Felix Renang Kennedie, 29, and Tsen Fung Khoon, 33, pleaded not guilty to the charge, framed under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
If convicted, they could face the death penalty, life imprisonment, and whipping of at least 15 strokes, as stipulated by Section 39B(2) read together with Section 34 of the Penal Code.

The two men are charged with trafficking 10,208.2 grammes of methamphetamine at the International Arrival Hall of Kuching International Airport on Nov 3, 2023, around 10pm.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohd Izwan Mohd Noh from the Customs Department represents the prosecution, while lawyers Osman Ibrahim and Roger Chin represented the accused. — DayakDaily
