KUCHING, May 31: The dual carriageway at KM31-KM33 Jalan Sri Aman-Betong near Bukit Marup to Engkilili junction has been officially opened.
In an advisory notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak advised motorists to exercise extra caution when approaching and driving along this section, as the opening process is still ongoing.
To ensure their safety, road users are strongly advised to comply with all traffic management instructions, especially considering the presence of two lanes in each direction.
In the event of any changes to the opening date, time, or affected area, the contractor will provide updates to the public.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their journey ahead towards their destinations, considering the new road layout.
