KUCHING, June 27: Two cars were completely destroyed in a fire at a house in Jalan Kong Ping here today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak reported in a statement that a team of firefighters from Batu Lintang fire station was despatched to the location following a distress call at 4.35am.
Along with the cars, the fire also caused approximately 30 per cent damage to the carporch of the two-storey house.
All three occupants of the house escaped unharmed.
The firefighters managed to bring the fire under control at 4.50am.
The operation concluded at around 6am following thorough safety measures to ensure the scene was safe and secure. — DayakDaily
