KUCHING, Jan 10: A senior executive from the top management of a local TV station has been arrested by authorities this afternoon.

The Facebook page Sarawak Update shared a video and photos showing the man being escorted out of the office of the local TV station earlier today. He was seen wearing a face mask and a cap.

Reliable sources reported that the executive had recently returned from performing umrah.

Attempts to obtain a statement from the police were unsuccessful, as Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mancha Ata is currently on leave. — DayakDaily
