KUCHING, June 25: Voters from five villages in the Trusan Tengah area vowed to throw their full support behind Selangau MP Baru Bian.
In giving the assurance, Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) chairman for Trusan Tengah Tadam Singa, said that Baru made the correct decision by joining PSB, which is in line with the spirit of assisting the natives, especially the Lun Bawang Dayak in the state.
Tadam was representing the five villages from Trusan Tengah, namely Bukit Kenangan central, Tengepadan central, including Beriwan and Long Tuan central.
“Although Baru has been representing Ba Kelalan for two terms during his time with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), he will defend it under PSB,” he said after chairing the election committee for the five villages in Trusan Tengah, today.
“Baru’s decision to join PSB after being an independent member in the state cabinet is the correct choice, as PSB is a local party from Sarawak and not related to the Federal government, and they are also fighting for Sarawak’s and Sarawakian rights,” he explained.–DayakDaily.
