MIRI, Sept 19: A truck driver was killed after he was struck by a car on the Miri Coastal Road this morning.
According to sources, the driver had just parked his lorry by the side of the road when he stepped out and was hit by an oncoming car.

The impact left the victim lying in the middle of the road.
It was believed that the incident happened around 9.30am this morning.
In a further complication, another vehicle attempting to avoid the victim also crashed, though it is unclear whether any additional injuries were sustained from the secondary incident.
Authorities are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the accident. — DayakDaily
