Trinity Hub Church receives RM120,000 for upgrades, community programmes

KUCHING, Jan 4: Trinity Hub Church has been awarded RM120,000 from Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR), with the cheque presented during a church service at the premises today.

Batu Kitang assemblyman Dato Lo Khere Chiang handed over the funds, highlighting the Sarawak government’s commitment to fostering interfaith harmony and supporting the development of non-Muslim places of worship across the State.

“The grant will be utilised for church-related development and improvement works, aimed at enhancing worship facilities and supporting programmes and activities for the congregation and the wider community,” he said in a press release.

Church leaders expressed their appreciation to UNIFOR, the Sarawak government, and Lo for the contribution, which will strengthen the church’s role as a hub for worship and community engagement. — DayakDaily
