MIRI, Mar 4: Democratic Action Party (DAP) should stop blaming Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) for the downfall of the previous federal government led by Pakatan Harapan (PH).

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) vice-president Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah on Wednesday opined that PH’s downfall was the fault of its own component parties and nothing to do with GPS.

“We never disturbed PH, and they should bear in mind that in Sarawak’s context, they are the one in the opposition bloc, not us,” he said.

“Why blame GPS? We have not disturbed PH or any of its component parties, we only look after Sarawak government very well, we even took over many of the projects that were slashed by the previous federal government,” he stressed.

Abdul Karim was met after presenting 22 certificates to participants who graduated from the Regional Specific Tourist Guide (RSTG) course in Miri.

He added that the Sarawak government was currently doing the projects which the previous federal government had suspended such as the Pan Borneo Highway Coastal Highway, and all the bridges. —DayakDaily
