KUCHING, July 3: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for several Sarawak locations from this evening through the night.
The forecast includes thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting areas such as Kuching (Lundu) and Kapit (Bukit Mabong). The warning, which was issued at 5.10pm today, will remain in effect until 9pm.

A thunderstorm warning is issued when signs indicate a storm with rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour is approaching or expected to last for more than an hour. This warning is short-term and valid for a maximum of six hours per release. — DayakDaily
