KUCHING, March 1: Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in three districts across Sarawak until 5pm today.
According to the advisory notice issued by the Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) at 2.35pm today; Selangau, Daro, Matu, Dalat, Mukah, and Tatau are listed as the areas to be affected by the rainy weather.
Based on the weather analysis, wind concentration is expected to occur, whereby this condition could lead to an increase in humidity and potentially bring continuous rain in the central and southern areas of Sarawak.
Following the analysis, MetMalaysia has also issued a Persistent Rain Warning for Sarawak which will hold in effect until March 3, 2024.
