KUCHING, April 19: Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Northern Sarawak by Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) and is expected to last until 4pm.
According to the advisory notice released by MetMalaysia at 2.20pm, Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan, Miri, and Marudi) and Limbang are listed as the areas affected by the rainy weather.
Based on the Facebook post, the warning is only issued when there are signs of thunderstorm with rain intensity exceeding 20mm an hour or with downpour that is expected to occur for more than an hour.
