KUCHING, May 5: The Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning to a few parts of northern Sarawak, which is valid until 7pm tonight.
According to the advisory notice released by MetMalaysia at 4.10pm today, Miri (Marudi) and Limbang are listed as the areas to be affected by the rainy weather.
Based on the Facebook post, the warning is only issued when there are signs of thunderstorms with rain intensity exceeding 20mm an hour or with a downpour that is expected to occur for more than an hour.
