KUCHING, Dec 2: The Public Works Department (JKR) has announced three temporary road closures in the Samarahan division to facilitate repair and upgrade works over the coming months.
A section of Jalan Kota Samarahan–Sadong Jaya along KM0+400 – KM2+157 (Q142-3) will undergo a partial closure from December 7 to December 15, 2024. This closure is necessary to accommodate urgent road repair works.
Meanwhile, another partial closure has been scheduled for the Kampung Sambir–Kampung Moyan Laut route, specifically KM3+650 (Q1139) from December 4 to April 3, 2025.
The prolonged closure is required for comprehensive road repair efforts to improve the safety and functionality of the road.
According to JKR, one lane of the Jalan Gumpey–Gedong will be temporarily closed from December 5 to December 31 for road upgrades.
