KUCHING, June 6: One longhouse each in Sri Aman, Meradong and Sarikei will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) while the EMCO at a longhouse in Sri Aman has been extended.
At the same time, the EMCO on five longhouses and two villages has ended.
According to a report from the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), the longhouses under EMCO are Rh Tuntun Seduku in Lingga, Sri Aman from June 5 to 18, Rh Demai Sg Lelabi in Bintangor, Meradong from June 6 to 22 and Rh Didong, Jalan Bayong in Sarikei from June 6 to 22.
Meanwhile, the EMCO at Rh Johnson Kampung Seduku in Lingga, Sri Aman has been extended to June 15. It was initially supposed to end on June 5.
On another note, the EMCO at Rh Lidi in Ulu Babu, Debak in Betong, Rh Chunggat, Munggu Ubah in Kabong Betong, Rh Empading, Bunu Skrang, Sri Aman, Rh Sube, Sungai Lemaus, Niah-Subis in Miri, Rh Lang, Nangga Meruan, Dijih in Selangau, Kampung Tanjung Bundong Tradisi in Kota Samarahan, and Kampung Tanjung Bundong Fasa 1 and 2 ended today. ā DayakDaily
