BAU, Sept 4: Three of six passengers were injured in a collision involving a Toyota Hilux and a lorry near the Tondong section of the Pan Borneo Highway earlier today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Bau received the emergency call at 2.30pm and promptly dispatched a team of firefighters to the scene.
Upon arrival, it was learnt that all victims had already been assisted out of the vehicles by members of the public.
Among the injured, two were passengers of the Toyota Hilux and one was from the lorry. All three were transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for treatment.
No rescue operations were required. The Bomba team concluded the operation after clearing debris from the scene and ensuring the area was safe for traffic. — DayakDaily
