KUCHING, Apr 8: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will officiate the Sarawakku Sayang 2026 programme in Limbang which runs from April 10 to 12, offering residents a three-day one-stop platform of government services, cultural performances, and community activities.

According to a press release, the event at the Limbang Sports Complex marks the first of 12 locations for Sarawakku Sayang 2026, a continuing initiative by the Sarawak government to bring services closer to the people and ensure efficient, inclusive delivery at the grassroots level.

The official opening ceremony is scheduled for April 11 at 10.30am and will also be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusof, Sarawak Deputy Premiers, and state and federal cabinet ministers.

Over the three days, the programme will feature a one-stop centre providing access to services from government agencies, government-linked companies, non-governmental organisations, and the private sector. Residents can benefit from health screenings, education and employment opportunities, social welfare services, and payment facilities for utilities, summons, and land premiums.

The event will also host exhibitions on Sarawak’s development alongside community activities including aerobic sessions, fun runs, traditional games, cultural performances, folk concerts, and lucky draws, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.
