KUCHING, Nov 3: Two temporary road closures will be implemented along routes near Kuching International Airport to facilitate utility relocation and road widening works.
According to a notice from Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), Lorong Lapangan Terbang 3 will be closed to traffic from today (Nov 3) until Nov 10, daily from 9pm to 5am, to enable utility relocation works.
Meanwhile, there will be a temporary partial road closure at Jalan Lapangan Terbang, opposite the Kuching International Airport VVIP Terminal, from Nov 4 to Nov 18, also from 9pm to 5am daily, to facilitate road widening works.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling in the affected areas and to comply with all traffic management control measures, road warning signs and speed limits to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro will duly notify the public if there are any updates and urges road users to plan their journeys accordingly.
