KUCHING, Dec 18: The temporary road closure of Jalan Kuching-Bau near Siniawan (Q6-1B) (KM6+850) has been extended from Dec 9 until Dec 23, 2023.
According to a notice issued today by the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure was to facilitate repair works for road surface cracks, slope failures, and road culverts.
During the closure period, road users are advised to use the alternative road, indicated by the yellow line (see photo), as repair works are being implemented in the area circled in red.
As such, the department advised road users to exercise caution in the construction zone.
