KUCHING, March 20: A temporary half-road closure will affect the road from Sg Suai to Sg Tangap (Ladang Alam Bumi to Ladang Tiga junction) in Miri on March 22.
According to Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure will be implemented on the overtaking lane from 9am until 4pm (depending on the weather) to allow for the re-gazetting process of Pan Borneo Highway Niah Section (WPC10).
In addition to that, the department said another temporary half-road closure would take place on March 23 from Jalan Bakun to Sg Suai (Bakun junction to Ladang Alam Bumi) from 9am to 4pm for the same purpose.
As such, JKR Sarawak apologised for the inconvenience and advised road users to be careful when driving along the route while works are being carried out, including following all signs and traffic equipment that have been installed.
