KUCHING, Oct 7: Team Hornbill emerged champion of DAL HCM Kuching Pickleball League 2024 which ended yesterday after six weeks of intense competition.
The league, which commenced on Aug 25 at MUSCS Pickleball Arena (MPA) in Demak here saw 11 teams competing.
Team Hornbill claimed the championship title after a hard-fought series of ten matches without any losses, collecting 30 points.
MUSCS B secured second place with 24 points, while Berami Pickleball Club was in third place with 21 points.
Swingers and RB Jokers rounded off the top five teams in this thrilling competition.
The event offered a generous total prize pool of RM20,000 organised by the MUSCS Pickleball Club and sponsored by DAL HCM Sdn Bhd.
The pizes were presented by DAL HCM Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Datuk Dzulkarnaen Ahmad. — DayakDaily
