BAU, Jan 31: Tasik Biru assemblyman Dato Henry Harry Jinep has presented financial assistance and food donations to flood victims at the Kampung Pangkalan Bau temporary evacuation centre (PPS) today.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), Henry, who is also the deputy minister of transport, advised residents to be vigilant with the unpredictable weather conditions and to be prepared, in addition to prioritising personal and family safety.
In this regard, he also expressed his highest appreciation to all the staff who have served with dedication throughout this disaster.
For the record, 21 victims have been registered at the PPS, consisting of 13 men and eight women with six heads of household (KIR) involved. — DayakDaily
