MIRI, Nov 30: A 29-year-old homeowner was shocked and terrified upon seeing a man inside his mother’s room at their home in Jalan Kuching, Taman Tunku here on Friday night.
The male homeowner just got home from work around 9.30pm when he encountered the stranger and immediately called up Taman Tun Resident Commitee (JKP) for help.
The intruder, believed to be a burglar, had then attempted to flee from the house when the homeowner tried to confront him.
A commotion ensued between the two, before help arrived.
Initial investigation revealed that the 21-year-old intruder lived just a few blocks away from the victim’s house and this was not the first time he had broken into the house.
When interrogated, the intruder said he just wanted to take a rest inside the room.
He was handed over to police for further action.— DayakDaily
