ā€œAs part of this effort, ten children from the affected families were brought on a shopping trip to purchase school uniforms, shoes, socks, school bags, and essential school accessories,ā€ said the statement.

At the same time, Wee emphasised that education should never be compromised due to unforeseen hardships, and MBKS is committed to providing assistance where needed.

ā€œThis initiative is part of MBKS’s ongoing community outreach efforts to foster a caring and inclusive society. It is not just about providing aid but ensuring that these children can resume their daily routines with dignity and confidence,ā€ said Wee.

MBKS added that it will continue to work closely with local communities, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and relevant agencies to extend further support to families in need, which is in line with its vision of building a resilient and compassionate city. — DayakDaily
