KUCHING, May 9: Residents of Tabuan Jaya here have been experiencing water supply interruption since about 3pm today.
A resident of Muara Tabuan complained to DayakDaily that the interruption began without prior notice and they were caught off guard.
The resident learned only later of the water supply cut from the Kuching Water Board (KWB) website when the notice popped up on the main page.
The announcement said residents would experience low water pressure or no water at all from 5pm today until 1am tomorrow (May 10).
This is to make way for the repair works of the 15’’ AC Main Burst at Jalan Usahajaya near Lorong Usahajaya 1 here.
Affected areas include Jalan Usahajaya, Jalan Muara Tabuan, Jalan Canna, Jalan Setia Raja, Tabuan Tranquility, Stutong Commercial Centre, Stutong Indah Residential Area, Muara Tabuan Residential Area, Sakura Toko Hostel, Orchid Toko Hostel and surrounding areas.
