S’wak govt to continue supporting hosting of Jom Heboh Carnival in future

KUCHING, Jan 28: The Sarawak government through Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) will continue to support the organisation of Jom Heboh Carnival the future.

Its Minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said apart from contributing to the development of the State’s socio-economic and tourism sectors, the carnival also had various benefits for the people.

“The support includes organisation of programmes and various activities that can be participated in by every level of society including the youth and families,” said Abdul Karim at the closing ceremony of “Jom Heboh Carnival: Segulai Sejalai Sarawak 2024” at Petra Jaya Celebration Square last night.

He added that the carnival also provided a great opportunity for people to spend quality time with their beloved family members, neighbours and close friends.

“Jom Heboh Carnival: Segulai Sejalai Sarawak 2024” was held from Jan 26 to 28.

Baby Shima was the first performer of the night.

Among the artists performing at the three-day carnival were Kaka Azraff, Liza Hanim, Aepul Roza, TujuLoca, Baby Shima, Hael Hussaini, Khai Bahar, Rem and Rahmad Mega. — DayakDaily
