S’wak govt allocates RM100 mln to bring devt to Engkramut, Selepong

KUCHING, March 18: The Sarawak government has allocated RM100 million for development projects to be implemented in Engkramut and Selepong in Sri Aman.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang said at the moment, the projects are still in the planning stage.

“As such, I hope that the residents of these areas will cooperate to ensure that all the government’s plans can be implemented,” he said when met by reporters during a Ukas programme held at Rh Faizal Edmund Minit in Engkramut, Sri Aman, today.

At the programme, Mong announced an allocation of RM100,000 to supply electricity for seven houses in Rh Faizal, which will be implemented this year.

He also handed over an RM15,000 allocation to the village security and development committee (JKKK) of Rh Faizal. — DayakDaily
