KUCHING, Jan 7: The light brown pedigree dog that bit and injured three adults, a child, and another dog in Tabuan Desa Indah in Lorong Keranji 4, 4A2, and 4A4 yesterday (Jan 6) has been caught.

Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng revealed this today on his official Facebook page.

“The light brown pedigree dog that attacked residents in the Lorong Keranji 4 area yesterday has been caught.

“But we still need everyone’s cooperation. If you notice anything wrong with your dog, please notify the city council immediately.

“WhatsApp us at https://wa.me/60106601919 or https://wa.me/60168796441. The office contact number will only be answered during working hours,” he said.

In the Facebook post, he also tagged the Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), which assisted MBKS in locating the dog with the help of members of the public.

Meanwhile, in another Facebook post earlier today, Wee shared that members of the public had spotted the dog wandering around Jalan Bayor Bukit, Tabuan Jaya at approximately 10am.

Furthermore, during the mayor’s cautionary Facebook post last night, he mentioned that the dog was exhibiting rabies-like behaviour. — DayakDaily
