MIRI, May 13: Police on Friday night arrested a 24-year-old man for pig theft.

The pigs were reported missing from their pen at an oil palm estate along the Miri Coastal Road on December 18 last year.

A report on the missing pigs was lodged by the owner in his 50’s after discovering they had vanished from their pen that evening at 5pm.

Five months after the pigs were reported missing, police eventually managed to track down the suspect and made the arrest at Jalan Raja at 7.30pm on May 10.
