SUPP Youth supports state govt’s decision to sue Petronas

Milton Foo

KUCHING, Nov 21: The state government’s move to sue Petronas to recover the state sales tax is regarded as wise by Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Youth central secretary general Milton Foo.

“It is a prudent move because other foreign oil companies have duly paid except for our own national oil company. Sarawak is one of the nations that formed Malaysia. The federation does not only belong to Malayans but also Sabahans and Sarawakians.

“However, we do not need any outsider or Malayan party to rule Sarawak as we can take care of and govern our own state. The suit against Petronas today by the Sarawak Government speaks volumes about this,” according to Foo in a statement today.

Categorising Democratic Action Party and Parti Keadilan Rakyat as Malayan parties, Foo said hence, Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sarawak is a coalition of Malayan parties in Sarawak in the disguise of Sarawakians who are merely the agents, at best the managers, for the Malayan leaders.

“It is time to ask ourselves, what can we Sarawakians do for Sarawak instead of what Malaysia can do for us. We deserve a better future. We formed Malaysia in order to prosper and advance, not the other way around by making Malaya prosper at the expense of Sarawak,” Foo added. — DayakDaily
