KUCHING, July 18: SugarBun has incorporated the #MalaysiaMembaca campaign into its latest kids promotion with free Hello Animals science storybooks giveaway to cultivate reading culture amongst children.
The promotion, according to a media release, was in conjunction with Ministry of Education’s “Dekad Membaca 2020-2030” campaign with the slogan #MalaysiaMembaca.
There will be three different Hello Animals science storybooks to be rolled out during this promotion starting with The Hardworking Ants on July 20; The Happy Baby Elephant (July 30) and The Beautiful Butterfly (Aug 9).
“During this promotion from July 20 to Aug 18, customers are able to collect the storybooks with any purchase of SugarBun Kids Meal at all participating SugarBun, Borneo Asian Food by SugarBun and Broasted by SugarBun outlets nationwide, while stock last.
“These books are supported with mobile app created and published by Pelangi Publishing,” SugarBun said in the statement.
It is designed to assist young children to explore the wonders of science and to encourage discussions about facts, the equipped augmented reality features assist children to read and learn in a fun way.
As part of this promotion, SugarBun will also be organising mini reading contests for children age 5–7 years old in selected host outlets.
These host outlets includes Borneo Asian Food by SugarBun at Plaza Shell in Kota Kinabalu (Aug 10), SugarBun Sibujaya, Sibu (Aug 14) and Borneo Asian Food by SugarBun, Kuching (Aug 17).
The competition is open to the public with requirement to purchase one SugarBun Kids Meal per registration. Registration forms is available in each hosting venue from July 20.
