Following Hashim’s upcoming retirement, he received a courtesy call from Dr Imam Santosa, the Dean of FRSD, ITB yesterday (July 28). Dr Imam was accompanied by Dr Bagus Handoko, the coordinator of the training programme at ITB.
According to a press release, the first batch of SayD’SignersSarawak comprised of six fresh graduates from Unimas who were sent to do their training at ITB in 2018 until 2020.
Former STIDC assistant general manager for Trade Development, Dayang Nena Abang Bruce, stated that the first batch of SayD’SignersSarawak was previously known as Pool of Young Designers (POYOD).
“I kind of like the name, so did Datu Hashim.
“Hence, the name was adopted; outreach programme was carried and the name spread as far as Milan, Italy,” she reportedly said in a statement today.
