KUCHING, Dec 16: After successfully organising three festive open house celebrations, Sarawak Tourism Federation (STF) will be hosting a Christmas Open House on Dec 21 at the Old Court House here.

The event is in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MTAC), Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), Brooke Museum, Food Journal, Guan Ho Leong Sdn Bhd and Kuching In and Out Magazine (KINO).

The event is scheduled for 12pm til 3pm. Guests can look forward to a variety of foods at the event.

Rt Revd Datuk Danald Jute, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kuching has been invited to grace the event. There will be also singing of Christmas carols by St Thomas Cathedral’s choir.

STF also engaged with four underprivileged non-governmental organisations to distribute free eyewear and Christmas presents to senior citizens and children respectively. A Christmas gingerbread house and gingerbread cookie decorating activity will also be held and families are encouraged to participate.

STF wants everyone, including tourists, to experience and partake in the celebration of different main festivals in Sarawak through its Open-House Campaign. — DayakDaily
