KUCHING, Oct 31: Sarawak reported nine positive Covid-19 cases today, with six in Kuching followed by Miri (2) and Samarahan (1), bringing the total transmission to 881 to-date.
State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement said of the six cases recorded in Kuching, five came from Greenhill Cluster.
Two workers were infected after a positive case from this cluster visited their workplace the other other two cases were social contact and one close contact.
All five of them took the Covid-19 screening test between Oct 20 and 30 and were detected with the virus.
Another case in Kuching involved a local citizen, who is in close contact with the 847th case detected on October 29.
The case was screened on the same day and the rT-PCR test results on Oct 30 confirmed positive Covid-19.
