“In Sarawak, our one state medical director covered the areas and job scopes of 11 states medical directors in Peninsula Malaysia!

“This is why the standard norm in Malaysia is not applicable, unfair and not acceptable to Sarawak,” he said.

Commending him for his excellent service, he wished Dr Chin a happy retirement.

“Thank you very very very much,” Dr Sim added.

Following the announcement of Dr Chin’s retirement, netizens have poured in love and good wishes for the doctor and thanked him for his dedication and commitment.

In extending their congratulations, many have praised him for his hard and splendid work in handling the pandemic while keeping Sarawakians and officials updated on the virus’ progress in Sarawak.
