KUCHING, Sept 13: The public are invited to enjoy and appreciate the special parade of six specially decorated vehicles that will be passing through the city on Sept 16, in conjunction with the national-level Malaysia Day celebration, if the air quality is good enough to allow it.
The vehicles, which will narrate the journey of Malaysia from its formation in 1960 to a futuristic nation today, is expected to kick off at 8.30pm from Kuching City South Council (MBKS).
According to a media release today, the parade route to be taken by the motor convoy will start from MBKS and moves along Bulatan Sri Aman (Padungan), Jalan Central Timur, Jalan Budaya, Jalan Badaruddin Traffic Light, St Joseph Cathedral, New Museum, Padang Merdeka, Post Office, then to Square Tower (Kuching Waterfront), Main Bazaar, Jalan Abell, Jalan Pending before it ends at Icom Square.— DayakDaily
