Spate of house break-ins believed solved following suspect’s capture

MIRI, July 11: Police here believe they have solved at least five break-in cases following the arrest of a 25-year-old man in Kampung Lereng Bukit here on Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect was nabbed following a public tip-off in the wake of his crime spree in the city.

During the arrest, police also seized several items believed to be from house break-in activities and tools for committing the crime.


The suspect was brought to Miri Central Police Station (CPS)for questioning.

The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for house breaking. — DayakDaily
