“The centre is fully completed and is expected to be operational soon. We hope this facility will improve digital connectivity for the residents,” he said during a site visit to the Spaoh Digital Community Centre on Monday (Oct 7).

Earlier, the Bukit Saban assemblyman attended a discussion session on the Betong Division Development Agency (BDDA) project ‘Aid for Livestock Farmers, Fishermen, and Entrepreneurs’ for Bukit Saban.

In addition, Uggah took the opportunity to visit a pig farm at Munggu Gernis Paku Longhouse in Spaoh.

The visit aimed to identify potential farmers eligible for assistance to expand pig farming in the Bukit Saban area.

He noted that this initiative is expected to boost farmers’ income and strengthen the local community’s economy.

Also present were Political Secretary to Sarawak Premier, Roseline Mapong, and Betong District council secretary, Lister Clement Guwie. — DayakDaily
