KUCHING, Sept 10: K-Pop fans and South Korean fanatics can now rejoice as South Korea’s largest fried chicken chain, NeNe Chicken, officially opens its first East Malaysia branch and fourth in the country here today.
NeNe Chicken Malaysia managing director Raymond Wong said he was amazed with the response not just in the peninsula but also in Kuching, where it began operating at Plaza Merdeka last month.
“I am amazed with the response. Keep up the support from Malaysian fans so that we can expand more. We have been receiving a lot of positive feedback from fans,” he said at the official opening at Plaza Merdeka lower ground floor here this morning.

“Sarawak is an important milestone for us, and we are doing our best to expand as quickly as possible. We hope to serve even more customers across Malaysia soon,” he said.
Plaza Merdeka was identified as a strategic location in the city because not only is it located right in the heart of the urban area but it is also an urban hub catering for various requirements from retail and entertainment to dining.
