MIRI, May 4: A 27-year-old resident of Piasau Utara, here, must have thought he was the only one in the house watching television till 1.28am today. Understandable, because he was home alone then.
But “someone” else was actually keeping him company — a metre-long cobra!
The youth only realised there was a snake curled next to the TV set when he was about to switch it off.
He freaked out, rushed out of the house and called Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.
Three APM personnel promptly arrived and had everything under control barely 10 minutes later. — DayakDaily
