KUCHING, Aug 30: The Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) has disclosed that the total percentage of e-billing data for assessment rates that has been received and updated as of July 31, 2023 is 35.13 percent, or 18,368 property holdings, which is still a small number in comparison to the 52,278 property holdings in the SMC area.
According to a press release, SMC once again requests that all Sibu property owners who have not yet registered for e-billing register an email address with SMC.
“Cooperation from all ratepayers is highly expected to move towards a digital economy.
“For the attention of all holding owners, the SMC once again insists that by the year 2023, they will no longer send a copy of the assessment rates bill to your address,” SMC said. — DayakDaily
