Six more locations in Lubok Antu, Betong, Pakan and Bintulu placed under lockdown

KUCHING, Aug 29: Six localities in Lubok Antu, Betong, Pakan and Bintulu have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), Rh Ngilah in Bara and Rh Jabu in Ng Tebat Skrang, both of Lubok Antu, will be under the 14-day lockdown starting today (Aug 29) until Sept 11, 2021.

In Betong, Kampung Hilir in Beladin will also be under the EMCO implementation from today (Aug 29) until Sept 11, 2021, while for Rh Bawie in Rapong Debak, the two-week EMCO will start on Aug 30 until Sept 12, 2021.

For Rh Andi in Lubok Besai Entaih, Pakan, its EMCO also starts today (Aug 29) and will last until Sept 11, 2021.

In Bintulu, a rented house above Bintulu Auto Shop has been under the EMCO since Aug 27, and will remain so until Sept 9, 2021.

Meanwhile, the committee also announced the end of EMCO for in two localities in Lubok Antu and Belaga today (Aug 29, 2021).

The affected localities are Rh Tukang in Ensawang of Lubok Antu, and SK Long Urun in Belaga. — DayakDaily
