KUCHING, Jan 29: A temporary road diversion will be in place at Jalan Simpang Tiga, Kuching, for six months starting Jan 29, operating 24 hours daily, to facilitate construction works, Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) announced.
In a notification, Sarawak Metro said the diversion will run from Jan 29 to July 28, 2026, affecting the stretch near ST3 Shopping Mall and Citadines Uplands.
Road users are advised to exercise caution, adhere to traffic management measures, warning signs and speed limits, and plan their journeys accordingly to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro said it will inform the public of any changes related to the diversion as works progress.
