SARIKEI, Nov 2: Six individuals were arrested during ‘Ops Perdana’ yesterday for alleged involvement in drug activities.
According to a press statement from the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) Sarikei branch, the operation was conducted in a few locations namely Bandar Sarikei, Kampung Baru Seberang and Taman Susur Jambu.
A total of seven individuals of various races were screened and subjected to initial urine test, and as a result, six of the men, aged between 19 to 40 years old, were found positive for Syabu.
All of them were arrested and investigated under the Section 3(1) of the Drug Dependents (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983.— DayakDaily
